Overview

This is the Navitas TSX 3.0 600A controller on its own, without a harness or programmer. It is the right choice when you already have the vehicle harness for your cart, when you are replacing a TSX 3.0 controller, or when you are building a setup around a harness bought separately.

The TSX 3.0 runs on 36V and 48V DC golf carts and drives both series and shunt wound motors. It connects to the vehicle through a cart specific Navitas harness or connector module. Bluetooth is built in, so settings and live diagnostics are available in the Navitas app, and the On-The-Fly programmer can be added for adjustments from the seat.

The 600A rating is the step up from the 440A version of the same controller. Higher current gives more torque for hills, heavier carts and larger tyres. If you are starting from a stock cart, a complete TSX 3.0 kit for your model already includes the harness and programmer and is usually the simpler way to buy.

How to confirm it fits

Identify your stock controller from its label, then choose the TSX 3.0 harness for that controller.
Check the system voltage is 36V or 48V.
Confirm whether your motor is series or shunt wound. The TSX 3.0 drives both, but the harness and install differ.

Requirements and install notes

The controller needs a Navitas TSX 3.0 vehicle harness or connector module for your cart. Neither is included here.
The On-The-Fly programmer is not included and can be added separately.
Record the serial number from the body of the controller before you install it. The manufacturer manual asks for this and it is far easier to read before the controller is mounted.
Disconnect the battery pack and discharge the old controller before you touch any terminal. Follow the Navitas TSX 3.0 manual step by step.
Check the main battery cables, terminals and solenoid before installation.
If the F1 and F2 field wires are swapped, forward and reverse will run the wrong way round. The manual calls this out explicitly.
If you are not comfortable working on a 36V or 48V traction system, have the controller installed by a qualified golf cart technician.
