Overview
E-Z-GO built a number of 48V vehicles, including utility and personal transport models, around a Curtis 1268 or 1264 controller paired with the ITS throttle sensor. This Navitas TSX 3.0 kit replaces that controller and keeps the DC motor in place.
You get the TSX 3.0 controller with Bluetooth, a vehicle specific harness for the 1268/1264 ITS wiring and the On-The-Fly programmer. Speed and acceleration become adjustable from the seat, and the Navitas app gives you live diagnostics.
Go with 440A for general use, or 600A for loads, grades and work duty.

Confirm the vehicle is 48V.
E-Z-GO used several controller and throttle combinations. If the label is not a 1268 or 1264, send us a photo before ordering.

Requirements and install notes
This is a controller swap. Your cart keeps its DC motor; the stock controller comes out and the Navitas TSX 3.0 controller goes in with the vehicle harness supplied in the kit.
Disconnect the battery pack and discharge the old controller before you touch any terminal. Photograph the original cable positions first, then follow the Navitas TSX 3.0 manual step by step.
Check the main battery cables, terminals and solenoid before installation. A tired solenoid or undersized cables limit what a higher amp controller can deliver.
The On-The-Fly programmer lets the driver adjust speed and acceleration from the seat, with a key lock to hold the settings. Deeper settings and live diagnostics are in the Navitas app over Bluetooth. Dealer level app access is available to qualified customers only.
If you are not comfortable working on a 36V or 48V traction system, have the kit installed by a qualified golf cart technician.

Navitas TSX 3.0 controllers carry a 24 month warranty from the ship date, handled by us. Proof of purchase is required. Labour, damage from incorrect installation, wrong voltage, overload and non-OEM part substitution are not covered. See our returns and refunds policy for the full process.
