Overview
This Navitas vehicle harness (Navitas part number 40-000592) connects a Navitas TSX 3.0 DC controller to a 48V Columbia ParCar that came with a Sevcon controller. One end plugs into the cart's 16-pin OEM connector, the other into the TSX 3.0's 20-pin connector, and an 8-pin port takes the optional Navitas On-The-Fly programmer.
Navitas's ParCar installation manual pairs this harness with the TSX DC shunt controller: the motor's two field wires run to the controller's own F1 and F2 terminals. It is for ParCar carts with a shunt (separately excited) DC motor, and it is built for the ParCar's negative logic control inputs. The TSX 3.0 controller is sold separately.

How to confirm it fits
Confirm the cart is a 48V Columbia ParCar.
Check the stock controller label reads Sevcon.
Confirm the old controller has separate F1 and F2 field terminals wired to the motor. That is a shunt motor.
Pair it with a Navitas TSX 3.0 DC controller, 440A or 600A.

Requirements and install notes
Place the vehicle in tow or service mode and isolate the battery pack.
Photograph the old controller's terminals and wires before you remove it, and keep each group of wires together.
The cable crimped to battery negative and motor A2 is cut and re-terminated with the supplied ring terminal. The original ring terminals may need drilling out to 5/16 in to fit the new controller.
Field wires: motor F1/S1 goes to controller F2 and motor F2/S2 goes to controller F1. If the cart drives backwards, swap F1 and F2.
Torque: F1 and F2 (6 mm bolt) 60 in-lbs / 6.8 Nm; B-, M and B+ (8 mm bolt) 150 in-lbs / 16.9 Nm.
Plug the 20-pin connector into the controller and the 16-pin connector into the OEM harness, then secure the harness with zip ties so water and debris cannot collect in the connectors.
