Overview

A Charleston-built brand that leans on dealer support

Bintelli is a Charleston, South Carolina-based company that has been building electric, street-legal, lithium-battery golf carts since 2014. Its flagship model, the Beyond, is offered in 2, 4 and 6-passenger configurations and competes directly with ICON and Evolution in the value-lithium segment.

What sets Bintelli apart in a crowded field of similar-spec value brands is its emphasis on dealer support and warranty service. Where several competitors are thinner on the ground, Bintelli has built out a more consistent dealer network, which matters more than a spec sheet once something needs fixing.

Who it is for

Bintelli suits buyers who want a street-legal lithium cart backed by a brand that has invested in dealer and warranty support, not just a low price. It is a strong pick if there is a Bintelli dealer near you.

As always with newer value brands, confirm local dealer coverage before buying, since support quality varies more by region than by brand reputation alone.

Maintenance, serial & parts

Keeping a Bintelli Beyond healthy

Bintelli carts are lithium-electric, so there is no battery watering or acid topping like an old lead-acid cart. The care that actually matters is different:

  • Keep the battery management system (BMS) healthy: charge before long storage and avoid leaving the pack at a very low state of charge for weeks.
  • Keep the charge port and pack connections clean and tight, the most common cause of heat, voltage sag and no-charge faults.
  • Have a dealer handle any firmware or controller updates if you hit odd fault behavior.
  • Run the usual mechanical checks: tire pressure and wear, brakes, and suspension bushings, same as any cart.

Serial, year & parts

Bintelli serials are located on a frame plate or under the seat, and the model year is often encoded in the VIN on street-legal units. Our universal what year is my golf cart guide explains how to read them.

Common lithium drivetrain components (motors, controllers, chargers) are widely available and cross-reference with comparable lithium carts. Body and trim parts and warranty work run through the Bintelli dealer network, which is one of the brand’s strengths.
