Overview
This Navitas TSX 3.0 kit replaces the stock control on Yamaha G14 and G16 carts with a modern Bluetooth control. It comes with the vehicle specific harness and a series adapter harness, so the swap is a direct fit rather than a wiring project.
The TSX 3.0 is a DC controller: it keeps your existing DC motor and upgrades the control side for more speed, better throttle response and app programming.
440A suits most carts and is the value choice. 600A adds headroom for hills, heavier bodies and regular passenger loads. Cart side fitment is identical: both options use the same vehicle harness and fit the same carts, so the choice is about performance, not compatibility.
Programming and live diagnostics are done through the Navitas app on a phone or tablet. Dealer level app access is available for qualified customers.

Requirements and install notes
The controller must be programmed with the Navitas app before the cart will drive. A smartphone or tablet is required.
Disconnect the battery pack and discharge the old controller before you touch any terminal.
Check the main battery cables, terminals and solenoid before installation. A higher amp controller puts more current through them than the stock control did.
If you are not comfortable working on a 36V or 48V traction system, have the kit installed by a qualified golf cart technician.
FAQ
Should I choose 440A or 600A?
440A is plenty for two riders on flat or gentle ground, and it asks less of the battery pack, cables and solenoid. Choose 600A for a rear seat, a lift, bigger tires or regular hills, where more current means more torque. Both ratings come with the same vehicle harness and On-The-Fly programmer.
Will this kit make my cart faster?
It adds torque, so the cart pulls harder from a stop, up hills and with passengers. Top speed also depends on the motor, gearing, tire size, pack voltage and the speed you set in the programmer. The kit does not raise the cart's load or towing capacity.
Do I need a new solenoid or battery cables?
Check both while the seat is up. A worn solenoid arcs on every engagement and sends spikes into the controller, so replace it with one rated for your amps if it tests weak. Navitas lists undersized battery cables as a cause of a cart that goes sluggish after a while and recommends 4 AWG power cables.
How do I change the speed and acceleration settings?
From the driver seat, with the On-The-Fly programmer that comes in the kit. A key lock holds your settings. Deeper settings and live diagnostics are in the Navitas app on your phone over Bluetooth.
