Choosing a Navitas TSX 3.0 DC controller

These are the bare Navitas TSX 3.0 controllers for DC carts, the ones that keep the DC motor. Each is sold on its own, without the vehicle harness or the programmer, so it is the right buy when a TSX 3.0 already on your cart has failed or when you already own the harness for your cart.

  • TSX 3.0 440A, 36V to 48V (label 10-000766). The 440A controller from every TSX 3.0 kit we sell.
  • TSX 3.0 600A, 36V to 48V (label 10-000685). The 600A controller from the same kits. It drives both series and shunt wound motors.
  • TSX3.0 600A, 48V to 72V (label 10-000783-01). The 600A unit built for higher voltage DC systems.

Match the number on the front label of the old unit. If forward and reverse run the wrong way after fitting, the F1 and F2 field wires are swapped.

Starting from a stock cart?

If the dead controller is a stock Curtis, Moric or Sevcon unit, the TSX 3.0 kit for that label in conversion kits is the simpler order: the same controller with the harness for your plug and an On-The-Fly programmer in one box. A cart still on a Navitas TSX 1.0 takes the TSX 1.0 to 3.0 replacement kit, which brings an adapter harness. Spare harnesses and programmers are in harnesses and programmers.

DC Controllers FAQ

Does a TSX 3.0 controller come with a harness?

No. These listings are the controller only. On a cart already running a TSX 3.0, the harness and programmer on the cart plug into the replacement. From stock, buy the TSX 3.0 kit for your controller label.

Will a TSX 3.0 work with my DC motor?

The TSX 3.0 is built for DC carts and keeps the existing DC motor. The 600A unit drives both series and shunt wound motors. Check the series vs sepex guide if you are not sure which your cart has.

Which TSX 3.0 do I have on my cart?

Read the number on the front label: 10-000766 is the 440A unit and 10-000685 the 600A unit, both 36V to 48V. 10-000783-01 is the 600A unit for 48V to 72V.
