Overview
E-Z-GO S4 and L6 personal transport vehicles run a 72V AC system with a Curtis 1234SE controller. This Navitas TAC2 kit is the 72V replacement for that controller. The AC motor stays, and the TAC2 with its pre-installed E-Z-GO L6 CAN module takes the controller position.
No mounting plate is included because this application does not need one. What you gain is control: adjustable speed, acceleration and regenerative braking, plus Bluetooth diagnostics in the Navitas app.
This is a 72V kit. It is not interchangeable with the 48V TXT or RXV kits. Choose 440A or 600A.

How to confirm it fits
Confirm the cart is a 72V S4 or L6 and read the controller label for the Curtis 1234SE part number.
If the cart has the factory ELiTE Samsung lithium battery, this kit does not apply and there is currently no Navitas kit for it.

Requirements and install notes
This is a controller swap on a cart that already runs an AC motor. The motor stays; the stock controller comes out and the TAC2 goes in its place.
Disconnect the battery pack and discharge the controller before you touch any terminal. Follow the Navitas TAC2 installation manual step by step.
Check the main battery cables and terminals before installation. Corroded or undersized cables limit what any controller can deliver.
Settings are adjusted in the Navitas app over Bluetooth. Dealer level app access is available to qualified dealers only.
If you are not comfortable working on a 48V or 72V traction system, have the kit installed by a qualified golf cart technician.
No mounting plate is supplied or needed for this application.
The 440A kit does not include the On-The-Fly programmer.
FAQ
Which E-Z-GO carts does this kit fit?
The 72V E-Z-GO S4 and L6 with lead-acid batteries and the Curtis 1234SE controller. It does not fit an S4 or L6 ELiTE with the factory Samsung lithium battery, or any 48V E-Z-GO such as the TXT or RXV.
Does the kit include a motor?
No. The S4 and L6 are already AC and keep their motor. The kit has the TAC2 controller with Bluetooth and the E-Z-GO L6 CAN module already installed. No mounting plate is needed on this application.
Is there a kit for the lithium ELiTE S4 or L6?
Not at the moment. No compatible kit currently exists for the ELiTE S4 or L6 with the factory Samsung lithium battery.
How do I set it up?
Speed, acceleration, regenerative braking and live diagnostics are set in the Navitas app on a phone or tablet, over Bluetooth. The 600A kit adds the On-The-Fly programmer for changes from the seat; on the 440A kit it can be added.

Navitas TAC2 AC systems carry a 24 month warranty from the ship date, handled by us. Proof of purchase is required. Labour, damage from incorrect installation, wrong voltage, overload and non-OEM part substitution are not covered. See our returns and refunds policy for the full process.
