Overview
Early E-Z-GO RXV carts, built from 2008 to 2011, use a Danaher 83A21102A controller. Replacement Danaher units are getting harder to find, and many of these carts are now at the age where the controller is the part that fails. This Navitas TAC2 kit replaces it and keeps the AC motor you already have.
The kit is built specifically for the early RXV. It includes the mounting hardware and the wiring needed for the RXV23 resistor, so it lands in the cart properly instead of relying on adapters. Once installed you get Bluetooth diagnostics, adjustable speed and regen, and a CAN enabled module.
440A suits most recreational carts. 600A is the pick for heavy use and hills.

Requirements and install notes
This is a controller swap on a cart that already runs an AC motor. The motor stays; the stock controller comes out and the TAC2 goes in its place.
Disconnect the battery pack and discharge the controller before you touch any terminal. Follow the Navitas TAC2 installation manual step by step.
Check the main battery cables and terminals before installation. Corroded or undersized cables limit what any controller can deliver.
Settings are adjusted in the Navitas app over Bluetooth. Dealer level app access is available to qualified dealers only.
If you are not comfortable working on a 48V or 72V traction system, have the kit installed by a qualified golf cart technician.
Connect the supplied RXV23 resistor wiring as shown in the installation manual.
The 440A kit does not include the On-The-Fly programmer.
FAQ
Which E-Z-GO carts does this kit fit?
The 48V RXV from 2008 to 2011 with the Danaher 83A21102A controller. It does not fit a 2012 or newer RXV with the Curtis 1206AC (that needs the RXV Curtis kit), an RXV ELiTE with the factory Samsung lithium battery, or a TXT, S4 or L6.
Does the kit include a motor?
No. The RXV is already AC and keeps its motor. The kit has the TAC2 controller with Bluetooth, the TAC2 module with CAN, the mounting hardware and the wiring for the RXV23 resistor.
Why replace the Danaher controller with this?
Replacement Danaher units are getting hard to find, and on carts of this age the controller is often the part that fails. The TAC2 takes its place and the rest of the drive stays.
How do I set it up?
Speed, acceleration, regenerative braking and live diagnostics are set in the Navitas app on a phone or tablet, over Bluetooth. The 600A kit adds the On-The-Fly programmer for changes from the seat; on the 440A kit it can be added.

Navitas TAC2 AC systems carry a 24 month warranty from the ship date, handled by us. Proof of purchase is required. Labour, damage from incorrect installation, wrong voltage, overload and non-OEM part substitution are not covered. See our returns and refunds policy for the full process.
