The Bottom Line On The Curtis Controller
Curtis remains a strong replacement when the exact model and calibration are known. It is not automatically the best performance upgrade, and an advertised amp number is not enough to establish fitment. Preserve motor and battery limits, then verify operation under load.
Before ordering, record the complete model and suffix, date code, OEM part number, voltage, motor type, throttle input, speed sensor, regen requirement, connector keying, and mounting footprint.
