Overview
This is the Navitas TAC2 600A conversion kit for E-Z-GO TXT ELiTE carts, supplied with the 5kW AC motor. It replaces Curtis 1206HBC controls on TXT ELiTE carts with factory Samsung lithium batteries.
This is a full DC to AC conversion. The AC system gives noticeably more speed and torque than the DC drive it replaces, and it is more efficient, so the same pack goes further on a charge.
Programming and live diagnostics are done through the Navitas app on a phone or tablet. Dealer level app access is available for qualified customers.

Requirements and install notes
The controller must be programmed with the Navitas app before the cart will drive. A smartphone or tablet is required.
Fitting the AC motor means pulling the old DC motor. Budget for a full afternoon and have the cart on jack stands.
Disconnect the battery pack and discharge the old controller before you touch any terminal.
Check the main battery cables, terminals and solenoid before installation. A conversion puts more current through them than the DC system did.
If you are not comfortable working on a traction system at this voltage, have the kit installed by a qualified golf cart technician.
FAQ
Which E-Z-GO carts does this kit fit?
The 48V E-Z-GO TXT ELiTE with factory Samsung lithium batteries and the Curtis 1206HBC controller. It does not fit a non-ELiTE TXT (that uses the Curtis 1206HB kit) or any other ELiTE model.
Does the kit include a motor?
Yes. It is a full DC to AC conversion: the 5kW Navitas AC motor replaces the DC motor, and the TAC2 600A controller, the On-The-Fly programmer and the mounting hardware come with it. Check the battery cables, terminals and solenoid first, because AC puts more current through them.
How do I tell an ELiTE from a standard TXT?
The controller label: the TXT ELiTE reads Curtis 1206HBC, the lead-acid TXT reads Curtis 1206HB.
How do I set it up?
The controller is programmed in the Navitas app on a phone or tablet, over Bluetooth, before the cart will drive. After that, the On-The-Fly programmer changes speed, acceleration and regenerative braking from the seat, with a key lock to hold your settings.

Navitas kits carry a 24 month warranty from the ship date, handled through our distribution partner. Proof of purchase is required.
