Overview
The 36V E-Z-GO TXT with DCS drive uses a Curtis 1206SX controller with a 9 pin connector. On an older cart that controller is often the weak point, and a failing one shows up as stuttering, no movement or a cart that runs out of breath on hills. This Navitas TSX 3.0 kit replaces it and keeps your DC motor.
The kit includes the TSX 3.0 controller with Bluetooth, a Navitas adaptor harness made for the E-Z-GO DCS wiring, and the On-The-Fly programmer. Once installed you can set speed and acceleration from the seat and read live diagnostics in the Navitas app.
440A suits most 36V recreational carts. 600A gives more headroom for hills and passengers.

How to confirm it fits
Find the controller under the seat and read the label. It should show a Curtis 1206SX, with a 9 pin connector.
Count the batteries: six 6 volt batteries means a 36V cart, which is what this kit is for.
DCS and PDS carts look alike from the outside. If the label is unreadable, send us a photo before ordering.

Requirements and install notes
This is a controller swap. Your cart keeps its DC motor; the stock controller comes out and the Navitas TSX 3.0 controller goes in with the vehicle harness supplied in the kit.
Disconnect the battery pack and discharge the old controller before you touch any terminal. Photograph the original cable positions first, then follow the Navitas TSX 3.0 manual step by step.
Check the main battery cables, terminals and solenoid before installation. A tired solenoid or undersized cables limit what a higher amp controller can deliver.
The On-The-Fly programmer lets the driver adjust speed and acceleration from the seat, with a key lock to hold the settings. Deeper settings and live diagnostics are in the Navitas app over Bluetooth. Dealer level app access is available to qualified customers only.
If you are not comfortable working on a 36V or 48V traction system, have the kit installed by a qualified golf cart technician.
Warranty
Navitas TSX 3.0 controllers carry a 24 month warranty from the ship date, handled by us. Proof of purchase is required. Labour, damage from incorrect installation, wrong voltage, overload and non-OEM part substitution are not covered. See our returns and refunds policy for the full process.
