Overview
This SPE ChargePlus charger is supplied with the 48V TXT and Workhorse receptacle, so it plugs directly into a E-Z-GO 48V cart without an adapter. It is programmed at the factory for agm batteries.
A agm profile controls the bulk, absorption and float stages for that chemistry. Using a profile built for another chemistry will either undercharge the pack or cook it, so match the profile to the batteries actually fitted.
The unit holds a float maintenance stage for carts left on charge between uses, and is UL approved.

48V E-Z-GO carts with the E-Z-GO TXT / Workhorse 48V receptacle. The plug is already fitted, so no adapter is needed. Carts with the E-Z-GO D-shape 36V, E-Z-GO triangle 48V, E-Z-GO ELiTE lithium receptacle use a different version.
Which batteries does it charge?
48V AGM packs. It is programmed at the factory for AGM, and a profile built for one chemistry will not charge another correctly, so choose the version programmed for your batteries.
