Choosing a Lithium Rhino pack

Lithium Rhino packs are single LiFePO4 batteries that replace a whole lead-acid set at the same system voltage: a 36V pack for a 36V cart, a 48V (51.2V nominal) pack for a 48V cart and a 76V (76.8V nominal) pack for a 72V cart. Count your batteries to find your voltage, then choose the capacity for how you use the cart.

  • 36V: 65Ah and 105Ah.
  • 48V, short trips: 50Ah and 65Ah.
  • 48V, everyday range: the 105Ah CUBE and the 120Ah, also offered with built-in heating for carts charged below freezing.
  • 48V, long days and lifted carts: the 170Ah Goliath bundle, or the same 170Ah pack as the battery only.
  • 72V: 105Ah and the 170Ah Godzilla.

Measure the tray before you order. Each product page gives the published enclosure size, weight and discharge figures.

What is in a bundle

Each Rhino bundle brings a lithium-rated charger, a DC-DC converter for 12V accessories, a state-of-charge display, mounting hardware and cables. The 170Ah battery-only listing is for a cart that already has a charger and converter approved by Lithium Rhino. Packs ship by LTL freight from the distributor, not by parcel.

Lithium Rhino FAQ

Does a Lithium Rhino bundle include a charger?

Yes. Every Rhino bundle includes a lithium-rated charger, a DC-DC converter, a state-of-charge display, mounting hardware and cables. Only the 170Ah battery-only listing comes without them.

Which Lithium Rhino pack do I need for a 48V cart?

Any of the 48V packs, which run at 51.2V nominal. Choose 50Ah or 65Ah for short trips, 105Ah or 120Ah for everyday range, and 170Ah for lifted carts, rear seats and long days.

Can I charge a Lithium Rhino pack in the cold?

Lithium should not be charged below freezing without heating. The 120Ah Heated pack and the 48V 170Ah packs have built-in heating; each product page states it.
