Choosing a MODZ pack

MODZ packs are single LiFePO4 batteries that replace a whole lead-acid set: a 36V (38.4V nominal) pack for a 36V cart, or a 48V (51.2V nominal) pack for a 48V cart. With MODZ the shape matters as much as the capacity, so measure the tray first.

  • Nano. A compact block, 14.0 x 13.8 x 11.0 in, at 36V 60Ah, 48V 60Ah and 48V 105Ah.
  • Slim. Long and low at 22.0 x 9.76 x 10.4 in, for trays with little height. 48V 105Ah.
  • Blade. The largest 48V pack we list, 175Ah, for lifted carts, rear seats and long days.

What is in a bundle

Each MODZ bundle charges through a UL-certified 20A onboard charger and comes with universal brackets and a state-of-charge display. It has no 12V converter, so add a 48V to 12V converter if the cart runs 12V lights or accessories. An E-Z-GO RXV needs separate MODZ RXV hardware. Packs ship by LTL freight from the distributor, not by parcel.

Nano, Slim or Blade: what is the difference?

The shape and size. The Nano is a compact 14.0 x 13.8 x 11.0 in block, the Slim is long and low at 22.0 x 9.76 x 10.4 in, and the Blade is the 175Ah pack for the longest days. Measure your tray and pick the one that fits.

Does a MODZ bundle include a charger?

Yes, a UL-certified 20A onboard charger, plus universal brackets and a state-of-charge display. It does not include a 12V converter.

Will a MODZ pack fit my E-Z-GO RXV?

An RXV needs separate MODZ RXV hardware as well as the pack. The battery replacement guide covers it.
