The extended-chassis 6-passenger Club Car Transporter and Villager built before 2004, with a DC drive. The 2 to 4 passenger DS and Villager, and the 6-passenger Precedent, have their own Eco Battery kits.
Does the kit include a motor?
Yes. Every option pairs an AC controller with an AC motor: 350A or 450A with a 4kW motor, or 450A or 600A with a 5kW motor. An extended wiring harness sized for the longer frame comes with the kit.
Which option should I choose?
A 6-passenger cart carries more weight, so most owners step up from 350A. 450A gives quicker acceleration and more pulling power, and 600A with the 5kW motor is the one for steep hills and a full load.
Will it work with a lithium pack?
Yes. The published input range is 36V to 90V, so it runs on your current pack and on a higher-voltage lithium pack if you upgrade later.
