This SPE ChargePlus charger is supplied with the 48V STAR EV receptacle, so it plugs directly into a STAR EV 48V cart without an adapter. It is programmed at the factory for lithium batteries.
Lithium packs need a charge profile that stops at the correct cell voltage and does not attempt an equalisation stage. Confirm your battery management system accepts an external charger of this rating before ordering.

48V STAR EV carts with the STAR EV 48V receptacle. The plug is already fitted, so no adapter is needed. Carts with the STAR EV 36V receptacle use a different version.
Which batteries does it charge?
48V lithium packs. It is programmed at the factory for lithium, and a profile built for one chemistry will not charge another correctly, so check that your battery management system accepts an external charger of this rating, and choose a lead-acid version for a lead-acid pack.
