Overview
This SPE ChargePlus charger is supplied with the 36V STAR EV receptacle, so it plugs directly into a STAR EV 36V cart without an adapter. It is programmed at the factory for flooded lead-acid batteries.
A flooded lead-acid profile controls the bulk, absorption and float stages for that chemistry. Using a profile built for another chemistry will either undercharge the pack or cook it, so match the profile to the batteries actually fitted.
The unit holds a float maintenance stage for carts left on charge between uses, and is UL approved.
