Overview
The Mild Hill, Yellow connector sets one specific performance profile on 2000-2008 E-Z-GO 36V vehicles fitted with the Precision Drive System controller. It plugs into the controller J2 option port and requires no programming, no laptop and no dealer tool.
Mild Hill trades top speed for a measured amount of compression braking, so the cart slows itself on descents instead of running away from you. Choose it for rolling ground and light grades where you want help holding speed downhill.

Set the run/tow switch to tow and isolate the traction pack before accessing the controller.
Confirm the controller is a 36V Precision Drive System unit with a J2 option port.
Insert the connector into the J2 port, secure the controller cover and restore the vehicle according to the service procedure.
A connector changes the controller profile. Verify that 14-14.5 mph and mild compression braking suit the vehicle, terrain and local rules.
