Overview
This is the Navitas TAC2 600A conversion kit for ICON and Advanced EV NEOS23 carts. It replaces Toyota NEOs "M" type controls.
It upgrades the control side of an existing AC system to the TAC2 platform with Bluetooth programming and diagnostics.
Programming and live diagnostics are done through the Navitas app on a phone or tablet. Dealer level app access is available for qualified customers.

Requirements and install notes
The controller must be programmed with the Navitas app before the cart will drive. A smartphone or tablet is required.
Disconnect the battery pack and discharge the old controller before you touch any terminal.
Check the main battery cables, terminals and solenoid before installation. The Navitas controller can put more current through them than the factory controller did.
If you are not comfortable working on a traction system at this voltage, have the kit installed by a qualified golf cart technician.
FAQ
Which carts does this kit fit?
The 48V ICON and Advanced EV NEOS23 carts with the Toyota NEOs M type controller. It cannot replace NEOs L type, red Curtis or LVTONG controllers; a 2022 or later ICON or Advanced EV with an LVTONG control needs a different kit.
Does the kit include a motor?
No. The cart is already AC and keeps its motor. The kit has the TAC2 600A controller with Bluetooth, the TAC2 ICON module with CAN, a battery cable, the mounting hardware and the On-The-Fly programmer.
How do I check my controller?
Read the controller label. It must be a Toyota NEOs M type. L type, red Curtis and LVTONG controllers need a different kit.
How do I set it up?
Speed, acceleration, regenerative braking and live diagnostics are set in the Navitas app on a phone or tablet, over Bluetooth. The On-The-Fly programmer in this kit changes speed and acceleration from the seat, with a key lock to hold them.
