Overview

The All Terrain connector sets one specific performance profile on 2000-2008 E-Z-GO 36V vehicles fitted with the Precision Drive System controller. It plugs into the controller J2 option port and requires no programming, no laptop and no dealer tool.

All Terrain is the most conservative profile: the lowest top speed of the four, with no compression braking. Choose it for mixed ground where a lower ceiling is wanted and the driver prefers to control descents with the brake pedal.

Manufacturer part number 76-73272-G04. These connectors do not fit DCS, Series or 48V systems, so identify the controller before ordering.

  1. Set the run/tow switch to tow and isolate the traction pack before accessing the controller.

  2. Confirm the controller is a 36V Precision Drive System unit with a J2 option port.

  3. Insert the connector into the J2 port, secure the controller cover and restore the vehicle according to the service procedure.

  4. A connector changes the controller profile. Verify that 13-13.5 mph and none compression braking suit the vehicle, terrain and local rules.

  5. Fits only 2000-2008 E-Z-GO 36V vehicles equipped with the Precision Drive System controller and a J2 option port.
