Overview
The Albright SW200 is a bigger main contactor than the SW180 most golf carts use: M10 studs and a 250A interrupted, 400A uninterrupted thermal rating, against 150A and 200A for the SW180.
The SW200-21 has a 72/80V continuous duty coil, and its contacts are rated up to 96V DC with magnetic blowouts as standard. That makes it a main contactor for a 72V cart whose contactor coil is fed from the 72V pack.
The blowouts pull the arc off the silver alloy tips when the contacts open. They also make it polarity sensitive: the stud marked + goes to battery positive.

How to confirm it fits
Check the voltage that feeds the contactor coil: this is the 72/80V coil version.
Measure the mounting space: 153 x 61 x 72 mm.
Make sure your battery cable lugs fit M10 studs.
Tell us your controller and its amp rating if you want us to check the choice between this and the smaller SW180B.

Requirements and install notes
Disconnect the battery pack before you start. The SW200 is larger than a round stock solenoid, so plan the mounting spot and cable runs first.
Mount it with M5 screws in the tapped holes in the frame, four per side. If you mount it vertically, the main studs must point up.
Observe polarity: the + marked main stud goes to battery positive, the other to the controller B+.
The coil uses 6.3 mm (0.25 in.) spade terminals. Crimp insulated female spade connectors onto the two coil wires.
Measure the voltage that feeds the coil with the key on. Albright labels this coil for 72 to 80V. A full 72V lithium pack can sit above 80V, so if your reading is well above that, send it to us and we will check it.
Tighten the M10 main stud nuts to 13.4 to 14.6 Nm. Keep or refit a pre-charge resistor across the main studs if your controller uses one, and follow your controller maker on the coil diode.
FAQ
What does 72/80V mean on this contactor?
It is the coil voltage. The coil is wound for 72 to 80V and is continuously rated (the label reads 72/80V CO). The contacts themselves are rated up to 96V DC.
How does it compare with the SW180B?
The SW200 is the larger contactor: 250A interrupted and 400A uninterrupted thermal ratings against 150A and 200A, M10 studs against M8, and 1500A against 1000A fault breaking at 96V.
Will the coil handle a fully charged 72V lithium pack?
Albright labels the coil 72/80V continuous. A full 72V lithium pack can read above 80V, so measure the coil voltage with the key on and send it to us if it reads well above 80V.
Does it come with a bracket?
No bracket is listed with this part. The SW200 frame has M5 tapped holes on each side for direct mounting.
Warranty
This part is new and covered by our returns and refunds policy. We handle any claim for a defective part directly with you. Albright does not publish a separate warranty term for this part. Damage from wrong coil voltage, reversed polarity or over-tightened terminals is not covered.
